DUCA VISCONTI
This is a specialist mill, producing a superb collection of cotton based fabrics from corduroy and moleskins to flat piece dyed chino and textured qualities, both classic, jacquards, washed and fashion designs, in pure cotton and cotton blends and linens. They have a lot of qualities for garment washing and garment dying, as well as pigment dyed qualities.
TEXTA
A wide range of digital prints using the latest techniques. Printing onto about 30 bases, cottons, linens, corduroy, silk, wool, polyester, lyocell and viscose. As well as having a wonderful seasonal collection, we do a lot of special developments for customers to give them something unique. They also do double face prints.
MAGLIFICIO MAGGIA
Based in Biella, Maggia produce a wonderfully diverse range of knitted fabrics from 48 guage to tailoring and outerwear weights. Cottons, linens, wools and luxury yarns are used as well as viscose and polyester. They do a wide range of plains and also jacquard and textural designs. The collection works both for men’s and women’s. If you are looking for any knitted fabric for any type of garment this mill will have what you want.
BARTH & KONENKAMP SEIDEN
Based in Germany this is a stock house supplying all manner of silk fabrics both piece dyed and yarn dyed, offering anything from a cut length service to larger quanities, all in stock. Some of the types of silk include Taffeta, organza, crepe, duchesse, shantung and dupion silks. To name but a few.
TOSCO CO LTD
This is a Japanese mill who specialise in spinning Ramie and using their own spun yarn for production of Ramie and linen fabrics, but also blending these with cottons and wools. Qualities include Chambrays, Voiles, Twills, plains, both yarn and piece dyed, yarn dyed twills and denim looks, jersey, piques, linen with Shetland wools, high density qualities, sustainable and organic qualities. Prices start at around 8 euro.
